We had a great time this last monday with JW Marriott’s own resident coordinator Heidi and her husband to be, Jeremey at City Park in Denver! We couldn’t have asked for better weather as it’s finally getting to be spring here…

Check out what a great couple, a huge blue sky and some really cool trees can do for a photo!

One happy couple!

Here’s Heidi catching some air…

Looking forward to the wedding guys! Congrats and thanks for everything!

We had the pleasure of photographing Matt and Shannon’s engagement session in a cool new location in Downtown Golden.  Golden is a quaint little place that has the classic Main St. (which is called Washington) and a slew of really cool old buildings!  Not to mention, it is the brewing home of Coors…

With the smell of hops in the air, we took to the streets with Matt and Shannon…check it out!

The first section here really appeals to our dark and moody style of photography. We just love the emotion that a really dark photo can bring to a couple’s interaction!

Then we always love the great texture and color that trees and grass can throw out at you!

An old barn is also great…we only had to trespass a little here ;)

We think this settler gives his seal of approval! Way to go Shannon, taking the leap so-to-speak.

No man is complete without that superhero pose for his portfolio!

Congrats guys! Can’t wait for the wedding!

So we know that 16 months old isn’t really a big deal, but what the heck…there’s always a reason to celebrate!  We took little Bella to chucky cheese and let her run wild…and wild she ran!

Say Cheese!

Chillin with her Homey Stuart Little. Notice how she has the laid back driving style down! I just would want to be in that car! “look mom, no hands”

She found a new use for the phone too…to hold her tired little head up!

Skee-ball….need we say more?

On her way to climb the maze…but had to wait for her photo-op

More later!

We’ll have some images from Matt and Shannon’s engagement session later today! Stay tuned!

Last week we had a beautiful wedding at the historic Stanley Hotel! Julie and Becky from Classic Creations did an excellent job with everything…including tying a real bow tie. Which, as Brian and I found out is actually not as easy as you’d think! Elizabeth looked stunning and the Stanley held true to form with some VERY nice weather (although I think Brian and Elizabeth would have preferred snow).

Anyway, here are some shots from the day!

Here’s Elizabeth walking out to see Brian for the first time…stunning

She had to go on a little scavenger hunt…it was so funny watching her run up and down the stairs with a huge smile on her face!

Mid-hunt!

We thought this door was a really cool touch!

Their first moment together…wind was a blowin

A nice moment…and a nice backdrop!

This time of year in Colorado always makes for some cool tree shots.

Beautiful Details by Classic Creations

This was a really funny flower girl. She took off and ran leaving a string of rose pedals behind.

Then she decided that going down the isle was that cool, so she stopped and waited.

They had some really pretty light for the ceremony. Very warm and buttery!

Proof the flower girls were there!

More of that light!

Everyone had these little bells that they rang when it became official!

We just love when the officiant steps off the side. Would suggest that for all of your weddings!

The big blue sky was sweet!

Doesn’t Brian look like James Bond?

This one will be on our website soon…

It looks like they had the whole place to themselves!

Congrats you guys! Looking forward to some more fondue!

Snow is fun!

So most people know that we live in Denver…but what some people aren’t aware of is that I used to be a fairly decent snowboarder! Well finally, after the move and construction and a couple of weddings, I decided it was time to finally hit the slopes and take advantage of the beautiful Rocky Mountains last week! I wanted everyone to know I’m still alive and it really is like riding a bike!

After a few practice runs, I was up to my old tricks! Here’s me on a mid-sized kicker…these, however, are about as big as they used to get 8-10 years ago! Amazing how things and people progress!

This is the kind of stuff we’d have to hide out and do…now it’s pretty standard on every slope…not to mention fun!

Anyway, we figured this would be a nice little break from wedding photos! We’ll have a few up from Brian and Elizabeth’s wedding here over the next week! Stay tuned!
