We had the privilege of shooting our second back yard wedding a couple weeks ago. This home in the Denver Country Club had to be one of the most beautiful homes we have ever seen and was so easy to shoot at because of all of it’s great architecture and of course, Lindsay and Travis. They were so much fun to be around and I am sure Jessica with JA Special Events would agree that this was a very unique and enjoyable wedding to shoot and plan.

Linday looking stunning…

Weren’t lying! This place was unreal!

The real question is…what is so funny?

The guys were playing it cool up until the ceremony started.

Jessica with JA Special Events did a wonderful job planning the entire event!

We snuck over to Cheesman Park for a quick dance.

This was such a unique cake topper….we loved it!

This was the cutest grandpa and he gave a very sweet speech and then…

…he decided he wanted to cut in on the first dance. So cute!

Stay tuned for Josh and Chelsea’s Engagement Photos!

A couple of weeks ago, we were a part of Scherrie and Kawambee’s festivities and had a great time! These two people were fabulous and amazingly in love! There was a lot of laughter and tears…not to mention a little soul train!

Check it out!

We thought we blew this one in camera and then just bumped the exposure up a ton and was surprised with the results! A little color noise aside…

Dressed to impress

It’s about that time! The nerves are hitting hard!

We loved the long isle…it made for a whole sequence of goodness!

Afterward, we headed over to Cherry Creek State park and did our thing! The sky was so perfect!

Love the emotion in this one…

And this too! Kawambee’s best man toast had everyone in tears.

The Worm!

Scherrie gave Kawambee a key to her heart…

More later! We have a TON of stuff to blog this week! A lot of crazy news and all kinds of cool stuff going on!

So everyone knows that trashing the dress is the new fad, but what most people don’t think of is all the photos you can get prior to getting it wet, shredding it, etc. Just walking around Playa Del Carmen allowed us a lot of opportunity to get some really great images without having to worry about getting the dress dirty. Afterall, it’s about to get really wet!

Love this one…those stairs were so cool. Never could get away with that in the states (no handrail 2 stories up)

These guys were hard at work and then EVERYTHING stopped to watch Jamie and Josh walk by.

So the next sequence is from a set of pilings that is in the main town of Playa. The waves were crashing and the sun was hot - check it out!

A little green fence to contrast to!

The lifeguards giving her a ride after taking the dip!

Thanks again for the extra time…we had so much fun!

Part two of our Mexico journey was for Jamie and Josh’s wedding in Azul beach just south of Cancun. It was the most charming little all inclusive hotel…perfect for a wedding to remember forever! Plus, Jamie and Josh’s families and guests were truly AWESOME! They treated us like kings and we have never felt more welcomed and appreciated to be a part of a wedding! This was just simply amazing…

So Jamie and Josh saw each other before the ceremony and we were able to venture off to some really private locations to get some shots. We found this old beach shack and a nice man named Victorio who let us use his little place as a backdrop for some photos.Take a look!

It’s blue!A creative little warning…The mothers could not stop laughing…too cute!Jamie…looking GORGEOUS!We did their first moment together on the bridge leading to the ceremony site. Josh was getting a bit choked up with the anticipation. After seeing her for the first time…Just a few of the fabulous bridesmaids…keeping the hot sun off of Jamie. Here’s Victorio’s little beach shack with a nice breeze and a beautiful bride! Her veil was absolutely perfect! The ceremony…Breaking that glass!Watch your step…A little post-ceremony moment!Jamie and her mom did an excellent job with all of the little details! They used the same mariachi band we used when we got married in Playa! Small world. Here’s the beer toting donkey…with Josh and his sombrero. At sunset, we ventured off to these docks that were right next to the cocktail party. Fabulous light! It’s dancing time people…We LOVE these faces…pure joy and sheer terror! The hotel had the entryway fountain decorated with a celebratory message…Thanks again for the great memories! Stay tuned! We’ll be posting images from the Trash the Dress session in Playa Del Carmen later today!
