A couple of days after shooting Sawsana’s senior photos, we ventured back downtown for some more Senior Photo love!

Marissa is friends with Chelsea, who’s engagement session we just finished back in June! Thanks for referral Chels! What a pair of eyes Marissa has! Also, Marissa’s family owns a kick a** wing joint called “winging it”. They have like a billion secret sauces that will blow your mind! Check em out!

Introducing…Marissa!

Thanks Marissa for a great session!

What can we say…Sawsana was beautiful! This was an easy session because she was so photogenic! For those who don’t know we do senior portraits, WE DO! We’ll be getting our new Senior’s website up soon, so stay tuned!

For now, check some out!

Stay Tuned for Marissa’s Senior Portraits and also Brittany and Chad’s wedding!

Okay, this one is one for the knot! This wedding was done so well and in one of the most picturesque places in Colorado. Contrary to it’s name, Winter Park does experience summer and it was just a perfect day for a wedding! This particular wedding was at Sol Vista Ski Resort at the top of the mountain! For you brides looking at destination weddings in the mountains of Colorado, here is a little rundown of the plusses and minuses…Plus - It is UNREAL as far as scenery and weather! The temp is typically in the 80’s and sometimes you’ll get a nice little breeze which will make that veil add a lot of drama to those photos!Minuses - WEAR SUNSCREEN! Because it’s so high up, the sun factor is way up there! I give you this advice because to spite being experienced mountaineers, we both got sunburned for this one!Anyway, Haley and Joe couldn’t have been a cooler couple for the big day! Let me just tell all you grooms out there…the GAUNTLET has been thrown down for vows. Joe sang his vows to Haley while playing his guitar! It was great and I wish I had a random video camera for it!Here are some photos! Enjoy!Love this shoe shot! This will be a website choice for sure! They had a really cool 53 chevy 210 deluxe! Wait until some of the later photos! The peak of the mountain!Guitars on top of the world…His Vows…Hers…They signed the marriage license right at the top of the mountain during the ceremonyA little bubble recessionalThe colorado version of a limo!We found this really cool barn about 5 miles from the mountain and proceeded to go nuts! The car! I think we’ll be buying one of these just for such an occasion!Hitching a ride to the reception…oopsThe reception was at the base of the mountain in the lodgeYummy Cake!Stay tuned for more crazy news! Hint, it’s entertaining and you turn it on and off.

Part 54 of our June shooting sessions included Joshua and Chelsea’s engagement session in Cherry Creek State Park here in Denver. Now, we have a little intel from Josh and Chelsea’s friends who tell us that they’ve been engaged for quite a while now. We can verify that a bit because they booked us 2 years in advance of their wedding! That’s getting on the ball! We can’t wait for their wedding next year at the Sanctuary, one of our favorite venues! These guys are so in love it’s great to be around! They just laughed and smiled at each other the entire time! Talk about easy to shoot.

Check out some Lake Love!

We lost the light a little early and used some backlight for little silhouette action

Check back for Haley and Joe’s wedding in Winter Park! Can’t wait!

So this post is a little late, but Happy Birthday America!  For those who haven’t watched the John Adams series or read the book by David Mccullough, it’s unreal!  Also, check out the HBO documentary on David Mccullough himself!

Okay, here’s the crazy news! We’ve been nominated for Photographers of the year by Bludomain, a HUGE photography website provider! These guys see everyone so it’s such an unbelievable honor to be nominated and we can’t wait to hear if we’ve won!!

Please send them love on our behalf…and I’m talking the completely shameless type! I told them I’ll camp out naked unless we win, and believe me, NO-ONE wants to see that!

Anyway, venture on over to bludomain and read our interview as well as our competition (HHHIIISSSSS).
