Shannon and Matt!

08.27.2008

Gather round little children let me tell you a story about 2 fine people!Shannon and Matt got hitched up the Stanley Hotel. This place was packed and they did it right! The ceremony was in the front of the hotel, which is one of the best spots to shoot! Plus, the weather was great right up until dinner started when it started a torrential downpour for about an hour! Then, 2 rainbows came out of the sky and we’d swear you could see the end of them…it was crazy!Anyway, check it out!The Stanley…where the Shinning was filmed - “HHHEERRREEE’SSS JOHNNY!The beautiful ShannonThe creeper hallway…Their is a really cool fountain in the back…The sky was killer!Matt with his ladies!!Shannon and her dad…loved this moment! We snuck in between the weather here in Denver for another senior portrait session with Levi this week! Just trying to follow the good light, we travelled all over lower downtown to search for some cool new spots. We found this cool old truck and some nice urban stuff all over the place!

Check it out!

Next up…Shannon and Matt’s wedding! Stay tuned!

Last week, we headed up the hills for two colorado destination weddings! The first installment was Ann and Andrew’s wedding in Pine, Colorado at the Murphy Creek Bed and Breakfast. This place is nestled in the hills and has an amazing open field where the ceremony was held. After a little afternoon downpour, the sun came out, the temp dropped and it was BEAUTIFUL! Luckily, we had this weekend in the mountains because down in Denver, the temp hit a near all-time high of 104! It was perfect to be in the hills!

Without further adiue, the proof!

The Meadow where the ceremony was held!

NOT 104!

This was a great spot for a first moment!

They have all of these barns around the property which made for some great shots!

Their dog was one of the groomsmen!

More barn love!

Ann and her dad getting ready to walk the aisle! Such a cool backdrop!

The flower recessional! Great idea for you soon-to-be brides!

This kid was so cute and LOVED the camera as much as it loves him!

The girls…

They spun and spun and then spun some more!

Check back for the second installment of our Rocky Mountain high weekend of weddings!

The Kuchyt family!

08.08.2008

So we’re finally getting around to blogging some more portrait stuff and wanted to show some of the Kuchyt family session from a couple of weeks ago! Frank and Jenn are our EX-stepbrother and sister-in-law…try to figure that one out, it’s a mouthfull!

Anyway, Bryson and Addison are so cute and had blast running in the park with the red wagon. Frank to it up the hill and took Bryson for a ride! Check it out!

Stay tuned for Jenny and Kevin’s esession and a bunch more weddings!

Last weekend we enjoyed a HOT Saturday afternoon with Brittany and Chad at the Franciscan in Denver. The temp was pushing about 150 degrees and not a breeze in the air! The only thing that saved us was a really cool cloud cover that rolled in right as we were taking the shots of the two of them. We were so happy, not only for the cool-down, but the photos turned out AMAZING!

If you’ve never been to the Franciscan, it sits in an office park that you’d never thought held this great venue! The back garden has a really cool roman pillared alter and really well manicured lawns…check it out!

Brittany has killer BLUE eyes! HOT!

A little early advice…

Father-Son moments are equally as cool as father-daughter moments

Did we tell you?! These clouds were great!!

A little first dance kissing action..

The kids at this wedding were crazy! We could make a whole website of just these kids…

We’ll be back on later for Frank, Jenn and family as well as a bunch more wedding love!
