HOT HOT HOT! These guys rocked it! We met Shawna and Fred downtown and did a little urban session throughout upper downtown. This spot has so many cool textures and buildings to shoot against, it’s perfect! Then when you add such a cool, gorgeous couple, you get some great stuff!Take a peep!Shawna used to be a model, so we had to do some with this killer light! Thanks guys! Looking forward to the wedding in a couple of weeks!!!Much more to come! Tons of engagement and portrait session in the works!

We’re finally get to post some our faves from Amanda and Jake’s bash at the Stanley Hotel a couple of weekends ago! Now, we did their rockin e-session during the Democratic National Convention here in Denver. We actually thought of postponing the shoot because we thought it would be NUTS downtown! But, what normally would take us 45 minutes of travel at the 5-o-clock hour took us 10 minutes because everyone else thought it would be nuts too!

These guys rocked the esession! Plus, the patron train was on the tracks and Jimmy Carter was walking around! Cops were everywhere with full riot gear, it was pretty funny!

Then, a couple of weeks later, we travelled up to the Stanley Hotel with Jessica Adler from JA Special Events, who rocked this event! Seriously, HIRE her!!! She’ll make your job so much easier!!!

So, the best thing about doing morning weddings is that you get some cool skies in Colorado! Plus, you don’t have to worry too much about the weather! The sun was a bit bright though, so fill flash was a requirement! With that noon-time sun and you can get some funny looking shadows!

Anyway, check-em out…there are a lot!

Here’s one angle

Then another…

Seriously, the skies just rocked our world!

Loved this moment with Amanda’s mom…

With all of the political fun going on, we had to get a photo just in case he wants to run for office some day!

Jessica rocked it!

Amanda walking down the aisle!

The girls kicking it!

The Scottish festival was going on…so they got a free flyover during the family shots!

More details from Jessica…they had some really cool centerpieces in the ballroom

They also had a candybar…something we’ve seen a lot this year!

The cake slam!

Aftermath

Jake went under to get the garter and found a whole slew of things! From a horn to a light saber and a rubber chicken! It was hilarious!

Thanks guys for a great morning! Hope you make some cash-ola in Vegas!!!

Last week, we popped down to d-town for another little e-session with a total rockstar couple! We’ll be shooting Sarah and Justin’s wedding here in Denver this November and we can’t wait after this session! Okay, so a good lesson for you future couples is to be as expressive as you can! Sarah and Justin just nailed it! SOOO much fun!

Check em out…

Catching some air! A LOT of air!

We LOVE the emotion in this one!

So this conversation went something like this…”do you want to climb that ladder?” “what, that ladder there?!” “yeah!” “okay!” riveting, huh?

We found this awesome underpass with some killer light! SCHWEET!

Thanks guys for rocking our world!

In the next installment of our senior season, we have Brooke! This girl should really be a model! We travelled all over downtown to find some spots! Eventually, we ended up at 8th and i-25 and found some great locations to snap some pics! Now, her school has this weird new thing that they don’t get their yearbook until NEXT year?! Has anyone ever heard of that?! I wondered how they get friends to sign it? Anyway, check ‘em out!

Also, we’ll posting our NEW senior portrait website soon! Due to the demand this year, we figure we’ll run with it and put up a full site dedicated to you future graduates!!

Congrats Brooke! Keep that senior-itis at bay as long as possible!

This past Saturday, we actually had a day off to hang with Bella and putz around the house! We managed to get off our butts and took Bella to the park and to Grandma’s! Kobi our fox terrier also came along! It’s strange to have a Saturday off and we were back at it for an early wedding at the Stanley on Sunday morning. But, for now, enjoy some of our saturday!

Here’s little Kobi man…broken ear and all!

More later!
