Archive for January, 2009

Last weekend, we ventured up to Beaver Creek and Allie’s Cabin to shoot Mike and Michele’s wedding! Jessica from JA Special Events put together a perfect event! It was such a laid back, easy going day even though the travel up to Beaver Creek was less than ideal. If you can believe it, it rained the whole drive up and somehow it was warmer in the mountains than it was in Denver! Allie’s cabin was a great venue…nice a quaint! Mike and Michele had about 40 guests that ate, drank and partied it up! Check out some of the photo love…

Thanks guys! Hope you enjoy Mexico!

2009 started off right for us! Not only have we booked a few more GREAT weddings, but we got a call New Years morning asking if we wanted to go on a free trip to Jamaica! UMMM, yes please! The house we are staying at is in Montego Bay…in the mountains with UNBELIEVABLE views!!! Here are some photos of day 1…at Mayfield Falls. If you haven’t been, you really should go! A once in a lifetime experience in these waterfalls. We brought our D90 and trekked it thru the water very carefully…check it out!

The view from dinner…

The details at this house are so cool

Up into the hills

They greeted us with coconut from the tree in the front yard

A little flower silliness. There’s my metrosexual moment of the trip

This is probably one of the most beautiful stairways we’ve seen. The light is just perfect!

We had to take a stop on the way to falls because the road was like an offroad track

Goats…enough said

This rock looked like a booty

HOT HOT HOT!

Best massage ever! Drag the shutter a bit and voila!

I’m a maniac, maniac…and I’m dancing like I’ve never danced before

Welcome to the Jungle..

Check back tomorrow for some cliff jumping that we did today! Almost 40 ft!

Just after Christmas, Gary and Emmalee tied the knot at The Denver Temple in Littleton. This was our first ever 2 hour session. We first hit up a few family shots and then had a good hour and a half with just Gary and Emmalee! We travelled over to Chatfield Reservoir to get some romantic outdoor shots. The only trouble was it felt like it was about negative 2 outside and the wind was gusting a good 30 mph! Wind can make for some fun shots though…take a peek!

Somtimes even a missed shot can look cool!

We have a couple of January weddings so stayed tuned! Also, we’re off to Jamaica this week, so we’ll be posting some of our travels soon!

Happy New YEAR!!
