This was our first ever trip to New York, so I was thrilled to be doing it with our good friends Nicole and Jeremy! We had a whole day of shooting with Nicole in Central Park and after walking for about 6 miles thru the park, we came to one final conclusion…that place is HUGE! Not only full of great locations, but people as well! We’ll show you some before and after shots here soon because this was one case where Photoshop was needed to get the exact look we wanted. It really could not have been a better trip except the rain that came during the time to shoot our art stuff around the city.

First, here’s a few from Nicole’s Bridal Session and her shower downtown…

Nicole and her Mother-in-law (to be)! They threw an incredible shower!

Then, the last day we were there, we were able to get around with the cameras in the rain! It was FREEZING! However, the cold did make for some cool tones on the some of what New York has to offer!

Didn’t get the shot we really wanted of the Brooklyn bridge at night, but hey, there’s always next time! NY, you blew my mind!

Just wanted to post a little sneak peek image of our trip to New York! We are absolutely in LOVE with NY! We had dinner at 2am, walked about 40 miles in 3 days and got to do so much in such a little amount of time! Thanks Nicole and Jeremy for an AWESOME shoot and of course showing us the city in style!!

We’ll post some from the shoot tonight or tomorrow!

The sound of the wind is still rustling up my hair from this shoot! We had our shoot scheduled for the day it snowed like a bastard here, so we rescheduled it for a couple of days later, which ended up being a gusty afternoon! But we decided to go with it!

These guys are perfect for a little downtown action! Perfect style and easy to shoot! One trick for photos is to just be yourselves and the less you know what that is, the easier it is to shoot because you just end up laughing and touching and falling into “yourselves”! Anyway, these guys were naturals! We can’t wait for the wedding at the JW Marriot this spring…helped out by Paige and CC from the Colorado Wedding Company! Stay tuned for more photos from these guys, it sounds like their wedding is going to be unbelievable!!

On another note…we’ll be out of town for the rest of this week for a couple of shoots in NEW YORK CITY!! We should have email and phone so don’t hesitate to call or write, but just expect a slower response than normal!CR and TIffy

Hope was so much fun! We did a little “shortie” session with her and came up with a cool idea! SO for the next 2 months, if you want to get a portrait of your little one, or the whole family, here’s what we have: A 20 minute session in 1 location with whatever style you’re looking for (urban, rural, moody, bright and airy, WHATEVER!), plus 2 digital files of your choice for facebook, myspace, twitter, etc…all for $100. Timing will depend on what style you’re looking for, so drop us note and let us know what you want! We’re limiting these to 2/week so get in here quickly!

Now for some photos of Hope…our little rocker girl, who had such killer style we could wait to shoot! Check it out!

Hope’s sister Carter got in on the action!

Thanks you two for a great session and a great idea!!
